Dr. Woo’s tattoo art is beloved around the world by some of today’s most influential personalities — Drake, Cara Delevingne, Frank Ocean and ‘Game of Thrones’ actress Emilia Clarke are just some of his famous clients. However, Woo has transcended his art beyond the skin of eager-paying customers. Other creative industries have noticed his talents and continue to commission him for some challenging collaborations. Converse, NEIGHBORHOOD and John Elliott are just some of the brands that have worked with Woo multiple times.
In February of this year, Dr. Woo was called upon by Infinite Archives designer to be part of an NBA All-Star Weekend art exhibit that included other respected industry names like Sterling Ruby, Erik Parker, Aaron Johnson, Nina Chanel Abney, Wes Lang and more. In July, Japanese streetwear brand NEIGHBORHOOD worked with Dr. Woo once again for a collaborative incense chamber featuring the artist’s popular line art. The new chamber was a follow up to the duo’s 2018 drop. Lastly, in August, the LA artist finally launched his WOO skincare line. The inaugural offerings included a tattoo aftercare kit and a hand sanitizer. The aftercare kit comes with a coconut oil-based soap and a moisturizer made from shea butter, sesame seed oil, chamomile and vitamin E.
